ABOUT
2n+1 is a speculative and collective archive created through interventions and exchanges of scientific documents from different expeditions developed in Colombia during the past centuries. This exchange was guided through a web platform that invited the collaborators to imagine an expedition and navigate hyperlinked archives, while some of the content was modified with the help of code programming. The resulting creations are gathered on a website and some of them were printed in a publication.
Many of these productions from past centuries were carried out by multiple writings, coming from various voices that were silenced or erased in individual authorship. The project proposes a collective dynamic to review and intervene in these documents, understanding them as a series of unfinished materials full of contradictions.
