RECYCLED LANGUAGE SPEECH
Recycled Language Speech is a performance by liCuadora duo that produces an improvised discourse using different books. It begins with a random reading of phrases and words and slowly it starts to turn into a SOUNDSCAPE that is amplified in real time. In parallel, the artists create a FANZINE in which they filter and capture what they hear (without looking for a logical meaning) and present it as a support of the constructed discourse. The performance plays with the arbitrary and random connection between elements and creates a book that “apparently” lacks of meaning.
